Paying for Therapy

UnitedHealth Members

I am a UnitedHealth provider, which means that clients with UnitedHealth are typically able to have a significant portion, or all, of their therapy costs covered.

I am happy to support new clients in determine their copay amount.

If you would like to clarify this information with your plan, these are helpful steps to take:

1. Call the number on the back of your insurance card.

2. Ask what your copay amount will be per session (code 90837).

3. Ask if you have a deductible that must be met before your sessions will be covered.

Private Pay Services

Many individuals choose to pay privately for their therapy sessions. Individual therapy sessions are $175at the time of session. Clients are able to pay with debit, credit, HSA, and FSA cards.

Sliding scale rates for therapy are offered and can be requested in writing before your first session.

Sliding scale:

4 sessions available at 75% out of pocket cost ($)

2 sessions available at 85% out of pocket cost ($140.25)

I have a different insurance plan

Providers frequently support therapy clients with other insurance plans in obtaining potential reimbursement for therapy costs.

How it works: Clients pay for sessions out of pocket and are provided with a "superbill" upon request. A superbill is like a receipt for therapy services that can be submitted to your insurance plan for reimbursement.
